Grief isn’t just tears and tissues. It’s forgetting where your keys are, shaving only one leg 🪒, and crying in the Walmart parking lot because they’re out of your favorite yogurt.
Listen, when people say “grief is a journey,” they forget to mention the side quests. Like…
🪒 Shaving one leg, getting distracted by a weird thought, and leaving the other one lookin’ like a wool sock.
🛒 Standing in the cereal aisle like you’re trying to solve a math equation, forgetting why you even came.😤
Crying because someone used “your mug” and it suddenly feels personal.
But the thing is — this is the healing. The weird moments, the small breakdowns, the little laughs in between.
If you’re functioning at 60% and still got dressed today? I see you. That’s strength — and also maybe deodorant in the wrong place. 😂
Hang in there. You’re doing better than you think 💖
